I recently came across these two ghosts of Valentine’s Days past. The photo above is one I took in Montreal, while traveling with an ex boyfriend. And this poem must be about the same fella. Ah, memories.
Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you all have had wonderful days full of lots of love (and chocolate, and prezzies).

What a unique and lovely Valentine’s Day post, Natalie. I hope you had a wonderful day today and got lots of love, all around, as well as from Mr. APB. <3
By the way, what perfume did you wear?
Lovely poem ….really lovely. Happy Valentines Day My Dear.
Thank you, and to you! xo
I hope your Valentine’s Day was just the right one.
Very beautiful poem and picture. Thank you for sharing them.
Thank you! It was a great day – very relaxed. I hope yours was perfect, too!
Great picture and poem! An idling fan is of course very much an American thing – or a not British thing, certainly! Is it my imagination or is that poem a bit dark? The bit about never getting close.
Perhaps aptly, it was accompanied by an advert of a busty warrior!
The fan was an ex boyfriend thing, too. I can’t stand the noise. And no, not your imagination on the darkness. That relationship was a hell trap that I struggled to get out of, and thank God I did!
Wonderful poem!
Thanks.
and to you too!
Thank you!
Nice poem and thanks for sharing!
Oh, thanks. I have never had any illusions about being able to write poetry, so it’s fun to look back at some of the crap I’ve written and remember when and why.
Beautiful poem, and is that a Rodin in the photo??
Thank you! You know, I don’t remember …
Happy Belated Valentine’s Day to you! Hope that it was a wonderful one!
Thank you! And to you!
